Hi there. As most men know, a tight lean midsection and great abs is one of the big signs of a healthy and well conditioned body. Of course it is also one of the top 3 things women apparently admire in males. So all in all its worth a bit of effort and diet will power to get great six pack abs and to do that you need the best abs workouts for men.
Fair warning guys, diet is and always will be 80% of our success, but when it comes to the abs workouts themselves it is important to not only do the best ones and use exercises proven to make the abs work fully and not just in contraction, but also stabilization!
I must confess I used to avoid the second exercise in this tutorial video workout below, but then I got back to doing it regularly and I love it.
It is one of my favourite abs exercises and one you can really gauge your progress on as you become stronger and your core musculature is better able to stabilize your body.
The first exercise in this back to back sequence workout is also a variation of a move (the crunch) that many people tell you not to do. What!?

Its almost trendy lately to say crunches are bad for you. HOWEVER, I’ve never done a ‘crunch’ instead I do the move you see in the video which never puts adverse strain on my spine and focuses totally on the upper abs, never the spine.
