Best Fat Loss Exercises – A Classic!

There are a wide variety of ‘standard exercises’. That is fairly obvious.

But for this article where we look at the best fat loss exercises we are going to firstly categorize exercises into 2 different camps.

Then discuss what is one of the best fat loss exercises you can do in limited space, with only dumbbells and one that actually burns more calories than most other exercises out there.

Sound good? Yes!

Ok:

Isolation Exercises / Single Joint: These moves are the ones you most likely see in the gym: a person doing a bicep curl, kickbacks, leg curl etc…

They work predominantly one muscle / joint and are more focused or isolated(hence the name) on a single muscle.

Compound Exercises: These are the ones we like to focus on for fat loss. Simply becuase they require multiple muscles to work in unison or synergistically to complete the move. alot of times you can see a move – like the one in this video – that combines TWO exercises into a full calorie burning compound movement.

This move (the Thruster) is one of the best compound moves and obviously burns more calories than most other exercises.
