How To Do A Crunch Properly

how to do a crunch properly How To Do A Crunch Properly

Ok.  Despite the fact that a lot of ‘noise’ in the industry today points toward ‘not‘ doing crunches.  I can tell you that you should do them.  But do them right…

To give you a quick info blast – your ab workouts should consist of numerous exercises performed in sequence.  Never just a set of ’100 crunches’ etc.

Firstly, a person will need lower body fat to actually see those abdominal muscles – and this is never achieved with crunches.

You should also be doing full body / intense / workouts using heavier weight (yes both men and women) in both circuit and superset fashion (more on that in other posts) to create a serious and beneficial caloric burn to lose stubborn fat and reveal the abs.

Certain exercises you do in your MAIN workouts will actually stimulate your abdominals and nervous system in the right way to them allow you to hit your abs and core with a specific abdominal workout at the end of your main workout.  I call these ‘plug-n-play’ six pack abs workouts.

Essentially this approach – coupled with a diet that is less dependent on carbs and heavy in fruit, vegetables, good lean protein sources and plentiful water will be your ‘road-map’ to fat loss and the body you want.  Which I will add is absolutely a tangible possibility for any person dedicated to achieving this when using the right methods.
